Dose Compass

Help centre

Product help for your supervised program, account, billing, uploads, devices, and data.

What support can't answer

Dose Compass support can help with accounts, billing, uploads, devices, logs, and exports. We cannot tell you what a result means, whether to start, stop, delay, or change medication, or whether a symptom is serious. Contact the clinician supervising your program, and use emergency services for anything urgent.

Account & access

How do I create an account?

Tap “Begin tracking” on the home screen and sign up with your email or Google. You can also open the demo first — it needs no signup and uses sample data, so nothing you enter there is kept on your real account.

I finished setup but don't see my program plan.

A program plan unlocks once three things are done: at least six lab markers on file, the intake questionnaire completed, and one chat session. The readiness card on Home shows which step is still outstanding.

How do I change my email or password?

Open Account from the bottom navigation. Password resets are also available from the sign-in screen via “Forgot password”.

How do I delete my account and data?

Account → Privacy → Delete data. You can delete everything or just one category (labs, notes, journal, protocol history). Deletion requests are logged and processed; they cannot be undone.

GLP-1 program support

Can Dose Compass tell me when to change my dose?

No. Dose Compass does not prescribe or direct medication changes. Follow the instructions from your prescribing provider and contact them about missed medication, dose, schedule, or treatment questions.

What should I track between visits?

Use check-ins and the journal to record clinic-approved routines, protein and hydration, strength activity, injection-day observations, and patterns such as nausea, constipation, or fatigue. Your clinician decides what matters for your care.

What if nausea, constipation, or fatigue gets worse?

Record what happened and contact the clinician supervising your program. Dose Compass cannot assess severity or tell you to continue, stop, or change medication. For severe or urgent symptoms, use emergency services.

Are the protein and hydration targets medical advice?

No. They are tracking prompts for goals assigned or approved by your care team. Your provider should personalize nutrition, hydration, activity, and medication guidance for you.

Trial, billing & subscription

Is there a free trial?

Yes — 14 days. You are not charged during the trial and can cancel any time before it ends.

How do I cancel?

Account → Subscription → Manage. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

Where are my receipts?

Receipts are emailed by our payment processor after each charge, and past invoices are listed in the billing portal under Account → Subscription → Manage.

My card was declined or payment failed.

Update the card in the billing portal (Account → Subscription → Manage). Access stays active for a short grace period while payment retries.

Uploading labs & documents

What files can I upload?

PDF, JPEG, PNG, HEIC and common document formats, up to 20 MB per file. Clear, full-page scans parse best; photos of a screen often lose digits.

My upload failed or parsed nothing.

Check the file is under 20 MB and not password-protected, then retry. Scanned images run through text recognition automatically; if a page is skewed or low-contrast, re-scanning usually fixes it. Anything still stuck can be entered manually.

I re-uploaded the same panel — will it duplicate?

No. Results dated within ten days of an existing reading for the same marker are treated as a refresh of that draw, not a new data point.

A marker is missing even though it's in the file.

Marker names vary between labs. Use the “Correct this” action next to the reading to fix or add a value; corrections are recorded and used to improve name matching.

Wearables & devices

Which trackers can I connect?

Account → Devices lists the supported trackers, including Oura and the devices available through our wearables partner (Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop, Apple Health and others).

How far back does my data go?

Up to 90 days of history is pulled when you first connect, then new data syncs automatically each day.

My device stopped syncing.

Open Account → Devices and reconnect — provider access tokens expire periodically. If the connection shows an error after reconnecting, disconnect and link it again.

Sharing with your clinician

Can I invite my doctor?

Yes. Account → Care team → Invite. They get view-only access by default, and can optionally be allowed to suggest protocol changes — which you still have to approve.

How do I revoke access?

Account → Care team, then remove the person. Access ends immediately, and pending invites can be cancelled the same way.

Can I export my data?

Yes — export from Account, or use the doctor-summary and lab-panel copy actions on the Labs screen to produce something you can paste into a message or portal.

AI features

Why did the assistant stop responding?

AI features have a daily limit while the app is in preview. The banner on the screen shows how much of today's allowance is left; it resets at midnight UTC.

Is my health data used to train AI models?

No. Your data is sent to the model only to produce your own summaries and answers, and is not used for model training. Details are on the Privacy page.
