Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. The app is not directed to children. If we learn we have collected data from anyone under 13, we will delete it.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at info@avernova.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Dose Compass is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Content in the app — including program suggestions, AI-generated analyses, lab organization, and supportive-routine prompts — is for educational and self-tracking purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement, medication, exercise, or treatment. Do not use the app for emergencies — call your local emergency number.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to violate anyone's rights.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or attempt to bypass security.
• Submit data on behalf of another person without their consent.
• Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or disrupt service.
• Resell or commercially redistribute access without written permission.

You retain ownership of everything you log — journal entries, notes, uploaded documents, biometrics, and lab data. You grant us a limited license to process and display that data solely to operate the app for you. We will not sell your personal health data, and we do not use it to train external AI models.

The Dose Compass phased program framework — including phase definitions, sequencing logic, safety gates, dosing schedules, lab-interpretation rules, reintroduction ladders, checklist templates, written explanations, and all associated diagrams, copy, and UI — is proprietary to AverNova LLC and protected by copyright, trade-secret, and other intellectual-property laws. "Dose Compass" and the Dose Compass marks are trademarks of AverNova LLC.

You may not, whether for personal or commercial use:

• Copy, republish, mirror, translate, or redistribute the protocol content, in whole or in substantial part.
• Create derivative clinical protocols, coaching programs, courses, ebooks, or apps based on the Dose Compass phased program framework.
• Scrape, bulk-export, or use automated means to extract protocol content, research summaries, or AI-generated analyses.
• Represent Dose Compass program content, in whole or paraphrased, as your own clinical framework or educational material.
• Remove or obscure copyright, attribution, or watermark notices.

Screenshots for personal reference (e.g. sharing a single card with your clinician) are permitted. Anything beyond personal reference requires prior written permission from AverNova LLC. Suspected infringement can be reported to info@avernova.com.

When you turn on AI analysis (off by default — see privacy controls), your data is sent to our AI provider strictly to generate the response you requested. AI output may be incomplete or wrong; treat it as a research aid, not a clinical recommendation.

Paid features, if any, are described at the point of purchase. Apple App Store and Google Play purchases are governed by their respective store policies for billing, renewal, and refunds.

You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete my data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a safety, security, or legal risk.

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, AverNova LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, or USD $50 if greater.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
